Java Developer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Java Developer with 2+ years of professional experience to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, and backend application development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reliable and scalable backend applications.
This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with developers, product managers, designers, and other team members.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
- Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Design and optimize database queries and data models.
- Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and application security.
- Debug and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write unit and integration tests for backend services.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs and backend services.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production applications.
- Follow software development best practices and coding standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of REST API development.
- Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
